The One Drop Foundation hosted La Cuvée One Drop 2022 event in partnership with Cirque du Soleil, Entertainment Group, MGM Resorts, Maison Ducasse Paris and La Cuvée One Drop Official Carrier Air Canada. Guy Laliberté, Founder of Cirque du Soleil and The One Drop Foundation was joined by Georgina Bloomberg, Honorary President La Cuvée One Drop; Daniel Lamarre, Co-chairman, La Cuvée One Drop and Executive Vice Chairman of the Board, Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group; and Bill Hornbuckle, CEO and President of MGM Resorts International to celebrate the Foundation’s 15th anniversary. This year’s La Cuvée One Drop event kicked off with an oenophile’s dream wine-tasting journey and performance by The Tenors followed by a multi-course gastronomic dinner designed by the team of River by Alain Ducasse for One Drop’s 260 guests. The hallmark event also boasted a blockbuster live auction of luxury items and travel experiences conducted by auctioneer CK Swett.

Highlights of the auction event included the one-of-one Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Chronograph watch, “One Drop” 15th anniversary edition that sold for $1,100,000, an unforgettable Alain Ducasse Versailles Experience at the newly opened Airelles Château de Versailles, an ultimate Sting experience at Rock Superstar Sting and Trudie Styler’s personal winery Il Palagio, Tuscany, an exceptional six-night stay for 20 guests at Guy Laliberté’s 2.5-acre estate on the Big Island of Hawaii, and a prestigious Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 2023 Experience, among other once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences. All net proceeds benefitted the One Drop Foundation’s critical mission of ensuring sustainable access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene services to communities facing extreme barriers, locally and globally.
