To promote the launch of McLaren's first ever lifestyle vehicle, the new GT, McLaren hosted test drives in New York City at the Classic Car Club. The week long event consisted of morning and afternoon sessions each day that kicked off with presentations on the McLaren brand, new GT vehicle and lifestyle collaborations. McLaren Automotive's Color & Materials Design Manager, Jo Lewis flew in from the UK to speak about the inspiration behind McLaren Automotive's bespoke division and the GT's design, color and materials. On display were McLaren's lifestyle collaborations including their new GT luggage set, vision collection, Belstaff jackets, 720S Ride-On for kids and life-size LEGO Senna model.

Each guest then had the opportunity to experience the new GT cars by driving them from the Classic Car Club on a pre-programed scenic navigation route to Bear Mountain or around Manhattan. Press outlets included publications across lifestyle, luxury, fashion, architecture, interior design, streetwear, men's interest, art, culture, business and travel.
