Valmont launched Storie Veneziane, an haute couture fragrance collection inspired by Venice and the art of Murano glass. Comprised of five scents, each fragrance is named after a pigment used by Murano glassmakers and tells the stories of five neighborhoods in Venice. Le Storie Veneziane will become the fourth pillar of the Valmont Group. Born out of Valmont owner’s Sophie and Didier Guillon’s passion for Venice, Le Storie Veneziane expresses their interpretation of the modern, contemporary and captivating city. Each flacon is unique and features a handblown mask in Murano glass designed by Didier and fashioned by master glassmaker Leonardo Cimonlin.

The launch was held at Galerie Perrotin in New York City’s Lower East Side and featured five pedestals showcasing each handmade flacon with corresponding ingredients. Editors were treated to a special presentation by Nathalie Pichard, fragrance expert from Paris. Also on display and adding to the Venetian theme was a separate table highlighting a large amber Murano glass mask designed by creative director Didier Guillon. Guests enjoyed breakfast pastries, coffee and bellinis catered by Cipriani. Each member of the press was gifted with a full size flacon of Verde Ebra I and travel size versions of the other four fragrances.
