Stephanie Pfriender Stylander is a fine art and celebrity portrait photographer who built her career in Milan and Paris during the early 1990’s. Based in New York over the past 20 years, her career had been focused on celebrity portraiture. Stephanie’s portrait work is dominated by instinct in the world of fame that evokes an emotional range of rebelliousness, melancholia and ambiguous cinematic moods. Recently, Stephanie has been working in northern India on a fine art project titled ‘Veiled’ which is a study of women in this complex culture. Stephanie’s focus is to raise awareness, visibility and funds to empower women in India.
Her clients range from international magazines, advertising agencies, music and fine art. Stephanie has exhibited at Frieze New York, Photo Shanghai, Spazio e Ansaldo Milan and Art Basel Miami Beach Wynwood. She is represented for her fine art prints by Staley-Wise Gallery, Artsy, Morrison Hotel Gallery and Dreweatts & Bloomsbury London.
