To celebrate Art Basel Miami, on December 7, 2018 Art Basel Magazine & Editor-in-Chief, Sue Hostetler hosted the exclusive ‘Women in Art’s luncheon sponsored by Valmont and Chopard. The event honored three powerhouse women in the world of art: Judy Chicago, Judith Bernstein and Suzanne Deal Booth. Valmont Cosmetics CEO, Sophie Guillon spoke to the group, highlighting the Valmont brand and its core value of art. Notable attendees included Michael Dickey, owner of Modern Luxury, Sue Hostetler, Editor-in-Chief of Art Basel, Lynn Scotti, publisher of Modern Luxury, Anetta Nowosielska, Editor-in-Chief of Hamptons Magazine, Blair Voltz Clarke, gallery Owner and NYC socialite, Stephanie Hirsch, artist, Anne-Claire Legendre, NYC French Consulate, Lisa Cohen, founder of Galerie Magazine and Jackie Terrebonne, Editor-in-Chief of Galerie Magazine.
The luncheon took place at StripSteak inside The Fontainebleau Hotel and welcomed over 100 dynamic women in art. The luncheon began with a cocktail reception where guests discovered displays of the Valmont universe including AWF5 skincare, Storie Veneziane fragrances, l’Elixir des Glaciers and Murano glass artworks. Following the cocktail reception, attendees took their seats for the lunch where Sue Hostetler welcomed the group and remarks were made by the three honorees, Sophie Guillon and Chopard’s representative. This hallmark art event underscored Valmont’s tagline, ’When Art Meets Beauty’ through their skincare, fragrance and art presentation. Guests were gifted with Valmont’s newest skincare products from their AWF5 V-Line Lifting collection.
