Established in December 2004, the Luxury Education Foundation is a public not-for-profit organization that focuses on educational programs for undergraduate and graduate students in Design and Business related to the creation and marketing of luxury goods. LEF programs provide students with various platforms to engage with senior executives in leading luxury firms to understand and appreciate the unique properties of this industry.

The Luxury Education Foundation is thrilled to celebrate its 10th year of innovative educational programs and collaboration with Columbia Business School and Parsons The New School for Design. Introduced during the Spring 2005 semester, LEF’s first program, ‘Luxury Retail: From Design to Marketing Strategies’ interdisciplinary Master Class between Columbia Business School and Parsons The New School for Design, gives MBA and design students the opportunity to work collaboratively on developing design concepts and offering marketing proposals to some of the world’s leading luxury companies. This ground-breaking class has become an LEF iconic program thanks to the active participation of luxury companies submitting case studies and is a true incubator for new, innovative ideas.
