The Italian Trade Commission’s ‘Beauty Made In Italy’ program and Italian Beauty Council hosted an in-person panel discussion at The Italian trade Commission townhouse in New York City that focused on ‘The Next Generation of Italian Beauty.’ The engaging panel discussion spotlighted emerging Gen Z and Millennial Italian brand founders, their inspirations and future visions. Topics discussed included startup culture in the beauty world, how to target Gen Z and Millennials, sustainability, saving the planet, and the choices these next generation founders are making to shape the future of Italian beauty.
Executive Editor and TV producer Avril Graham tapped into her extensive knowledge of the fashion and beauty worlds to moderate this event, delighting the crowd, and lending a unique and valuable perspective on the past, present, and future of the beauty industry, both in the US and Italy. Panelists included three ‘Next Gen’ Italian beauty founders and CEOs: Chiara Cascella, Founder & CEO of EspressOh, Gian Antonio Pisterzi, Founder & CEO of Pisterzi Italian Grooming Art, and Giuditta Rossetti, Founder & CEO of Acqualaï. Mr. Antonino Laspina, Trade Commissioner & Executive Director for the USA, Italian Trade Commission welcomed the audience and highlighted the exciting new beauty brands coming out of Italy.
